2 ഈ നാളുകളുടെ അന്ത്യത്തിൽ പുത്രനിൽ നമ്മോടു സംസാരിച്ചു, അവനെ സകലത്തിനും അവകാശിയായി അവൻ നിയമിക്കുകയും, അവനിലൂടെ അവൻ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു;

3 അവൻ, ദൈവതേജസ്സിന്റെ പ്രഭയും അവന്റെ സത്തയുടെ മുദ്രയും, സകലത്തെയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ വചനത്താൽ താങ്ങിനിർത്തുന്നവനും വഹിക്കുന്നവനുമായി, പാപങ്ങളുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം വരുത്തിയിട്ട്, ഉയരത്തിൽ മഹിമയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് ഇരുന്നു;
